Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cold accumulator which can continuously make ice by efficiently separating the ice with a small size.
CONSTITUTION: An icemaker 2 and an ice storage unit 3 are vertically continuously formed in a cold accumulator 1. A plate fin and tube type heat exchanger 4 is disposed in the icemaker 2, and a liquid sprinkling tube 5 is disposed at an upper side of the exchanger 4. Upper and lower tubes of the exchanger 4 are covered with heat transfer plates to form a space of a square sectional shape between the plates. A branch guide plate 19 is disposed at an upper end between the plates of the exchanger 4, and chiller solution from the tube 5 is guided to surfaces of the plates. A three-way valve 30 is disposed between an upper collecting tube of the exchanger 4 and a four-way valve 32 in a heat pump circuit, and the valves 32 and 30 are provided to be cooperatively switched. One port of the valve 30 is connected via a tube to a folding part of the tube of the exchanger 4.
