Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a power train which is compact and allows a case to be easily assembled in a four-wheeled vehicle wherein an engine and a speed change gear are placed horizontally in parallel.
CONSTITUTION: An engine 6, a speed change gear 7, a case 70 for a front differential and power transmission gear devices are integrally constituted. The axis supporting face of a crank shaft 8 and the I/O axis 22 of a speed change gear 7 or the supporting axis portion of a front wheel drive axel 42R are provided on the same mating face F1 and the axis supporting portion of a gear drive shaft 46 in the power transmission gear device is provided on the mating face F2 of the case 70, which is different from the mating face F1.
