Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a longitudinally elongated air conditioner which is capable of being installed in a small space, and flesh air is introduced at all times and simultaneously with cold/-hot air at predetermined temperatures are fed and further air is supplied quietly.
CONSTITUTION: A vent 2 and a fan air inlet 3 are provided in the upper part of an apparatus body 1 and an exhaust outlet 4 and a fresh air intake port 5 are provided in the side part of the same. The vent 2 and the exhaust outlet 4, and the fresh air intake port 5 and the fan air inlet 3 are communicated with each other through upper and lower fan air passages A and B. An exhaust fan 6 is disposed substantially at the center of the apparatus body of the passage A, and various devices such as a cold/hot water coil 7, a moistening device 9, a filter, and a dust collector 11, and a fresh air fan 8 are disposed in the passage B. A bypass air passage C is provided between the exhaust outlet 4 and the fresh air intake port 5. There are further provided a damper (a) on the exhaust outlet 4, a damper (b) in the fresh air port, and a changeover damper (c) on a bypass air passage C. With a changeover operation among the dampers (a), (b), and (c) such as mixed air with circulation air are fed into a room together with introduction of fresh air and air circulation in a room.
