PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture and finish of a watch case while improving the appearance of a watch band connection mechanism by eliminating a protrud ing element causing a trouble in the manufacture on an automatic machine.

CONSTITUTION: The case band 2 of a watch case 1 includes one or two recesses 20 for receiving the opposite ends of a watch band in the longitudinal direction. Each end of the watch band is held by a connection mechanism, e.g. a click 30 or a recess and a cut 40 or a protrusion to be paired therewith, provided on the back 3 of the watch case or the extended part thereof or an intermediate member integral with the case band in the vicinity of the end of the watch band.
