Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mold a thermoplastic elastomer using a mold capable of obtaining a rubber molded product having no sink even when the thermoplastic elastomer is molded.
CONSTITUTION: In a mold 1 consisting of upper and lower molds 1a, 1b having the cavity 2 formed between the upper and lower molds 1a, 1b and having the recessed flash groove 4 formed to the peripheral edge part of the cavity 2, the distance (d) from the peripheral edge end part of the cavity to the flash groove 4 is 4-20mm. This distance (d) is pref. 6-10mm. A thermoplastic elastomer is molded by compression molding using a specific mold.
