PURPOSE: To provide an intake control device for an internal combustion engine which is constituted to improve operation controllability of the internal combustion engine employing an intake control valve.
CONSTITUTION: In intake control devices 111 and 114 for an internal combustion engine wherein an intake control valve 15 is located in an intake air passage and opening and closing off of the intake control valve are controlled according to the running state of an engine, a first correction means 113 is provided for correcting an intake air amount calculated based on a detecting output for a pressure in an inlet pipe according to a closing timing detected by a closing timing detecting means. In a similar intake control device for an internal combustion engine for an internal combustion engine, a fuel injection period by a fuel injection valve and the opening closing switching timing of an intake control valve are monitored and a second correction means 114 to perform correction so that the injection period and the switching timing are prevented from coincidence with each other. Moreover, in a similar intake control device for an internal combustion engine, a third correcting means 115 to advance the ignition timing of an engine according to a closing timing detected by a closing timing detecting means is further provided.
