Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce processing quantity required for the update of an estimated impulse response.
CONSTITUTION: A false echo signal generation part 8 outputs a false echo signal by, a reception audio signal accumulated in data memory 5 and the estimate of an impulse response outputted from a tap coefficient update part 7. A subtractor 9 subtracts the false echo signal from an echo signal from a four-wire/two-wire converter 10, and residual signals are accumulated in data memory 6. The tap coefficient update part 7 outputs the estimate of the impulse response made approach a true echo route in a clock element outputted from an update element selection part 13 from an update time 12 outputted from an update time control part 12 to a false echo signal generation part 8.
