Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the surface of a lead pen capable of preventing the deterioration of recording picture quality generated due to the clamping of a succeeding lead by a chuck though there is a preceding lead in a mouthpiece sleeve.
CONSTITUTION: In the lead pen of a plotter, in which a chuck 4 clamping a lead is incorporated into a pen body 1 installed to the pen carriage of the plotter and a mouthpiece sleeve 7 with a detent rubber 10 guiding the front end section of a lead pushed by an energizing spring 9 in the projecting direction and clamped by a chuck ring 5 is set up at the front end of the pen body 1, a contact ring 11 is mounted slidably at the front end section of the mouthpiece sleeve 7 in the longitudinal direction of the lead. In the lead pen of the plotter, the contact ring 11 is pushed in the direction projected from the nose surface of the mouthpiece sleeve 7 by a pushing spring 14 stronger than the energizing spring 9 interposed between the contact ring 11 and the mouthpiece sleeve 7.
