Abstract:
PURPOSE: To solve a problem caused by consecutive characteristics belonging to an SCSI bus.
CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a dividable bus adapter unit for executing interface between the system bus of a computer and a peripheral bus connected to a peripheral device. This bus adapter unit 11 is provided with not less than two ports, which are individually connected to the separated sections of a peripheral bus related with a bus system. In this bus system, the sections are consecutively connected to each other through this bus adapter unit 11 in usual. Data transfer between each unit bus and the computer system bus is separately controlled within the bus adapter unit 11. On the other hand, the peripheral bus can be constituted as if it were a logically-single consecutive bus with respect to the computer system.
