Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cut a continuous-length wood material to a required dimension irrespective of the length of the carried continuous-length wood material.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed mount 12a is fixed on one end of a base mount 11. A movable mount 12b can be slid on the base mount 11 in parallel to the fixed mount 12a. Carry-in rollers 13 provided on the fixed mount 12a and the respective movable mounts 12b are rotatively driven to carry a continuous-length wood material W in its longitudinal direction. A stopper 21 positions the continuous-length wood material W carried by the carry-in rollers 13 in a predetermined position. Feed belts 14 provided on the fixed mount 12a and the movable mounts 12b feed the continuous-length wood material W in its width direction from the predetermined position. Cutters 15a, 15b are rotatably provided on the fixed mount 12a and the last movable mount 12b. An expanding means 16 equidistantly expands/shrinks the respective movable mounts 12b with respect to the fixed mount 12a.
