PURPOSE: To provide a veneer single plate lifting device with a simple structure by which the rotation of a pierce body is stopped simultaneously with the lowering stop of the pierce body without the use of an controller, while not requiring any exclusive power and controller for rotation in order to rotate the pierce body, while piercing a single plate by the pierce body having a spiral groove.

CONSTITUTION: A veneer single plate lifting device is composed of a pierce body 7 on whose axis having a spiral groove a brim 7b extending from the center of the axis in an outer periphery direction and a sharp tip 7a are formed, and a hooking member 9 having a push-pressing member 17b arranged attachably to and detachably from the most upper end part of the pierce body 7 on an imaginary axial center line, a hooking part 9a arranged attachably to and detachably from the brim 7b, a hole part 9b and a regulation bottom part 9c for regulating the piercing amount of the pierce body 7.
