Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetic trip in which electric power is not applied to a solenoid coil after tripping so that burn-out of the coil can be prevented.
CONSTITUTION: A rotatable test-off lever 26 having its axis of rotation on an insulating mount is provided and is always associated with a fixed switch plate 22A, and a movable switch plate 23A is pressed into contact with the fixed switch plate 22A so as to apply electric power to a solenoid coil. After tripping, the test-off lever 26 warps the fixed switch plate 22A out of contact with the movable switch plate 23A.
