Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a coating machine with counter-flow and parallel-flow air conductions, in which air conduction can be operated in safety and an air distributor or the housing part or the drum part covered with the air distributor can be cleaned easily.
CONSTITUTION: Cores to be coated are arranged in a perforated drum 1 which includes an air conducting channel 2 surrounding the drum at its outer periphery, to which air channel 2 is provided with air from an air supply fixed to the housing, with the air streams directed in different directions into the drum, and another air flow can be led out in the axial direction from the drum through a rotary bearing. An annular distribution valve 31 causing parallel-flow and counter-flow is disposed in front of a fixed annular flange 34, a slit 32 is coupled with an air connection 44, and an annular flange 34 is coupled airtightly with the air conducting channel 2 of the drum 1 by part-annular chambers separate from each other.
