PURPOSE: To provide a tractor device to guide a continuous paper sheet by which the number of part items can be reduced and travel of a paper sheet can be stabilized.

CONSTITUTION: A tractor device has a tractor frame 1, a pin belt 2 to travel by being wound round the tractor frame 1, a tractor cover 3 to guide travel of a paper sheet in a closed condition where the paper sheet is pressed down from outside of the pin belt 2 installed on the tractor frame 1 and an opening and closing center pin 4 to support rotatably freely the tractor cover 3 installed on the tractor frame 1. As a locking projection part, an opening and closing surface cam 5 is arranged in the vicinity of the opening and closing center pin 4 of the tractor cover 3, and a leaf spring part 6 always coming into contact with the opening and closing surface cam 5 is installed on the tractor frame 1. A stopper 7 to maintain a closed condition of the tractor cover 3 is installed in a part where this leaf spring part 6 comes into contact with the opening and closing surface cam 5.
