PURPOSE: To connect a meter box of an automobile and a rear case simply and reliably through an intermediate connector.

CONSTITUTION: One connecting body 1 and the other connecting body 6 are connected to each other through an intermediate connector 4. A sliding guide part 3 to the relay connector is arranged in one connecting body, and a locking part is arranged in either one of the sliding guide part and the intermediate connector, and a temporary engaging part and a regular engaging part to the locking part are arranged in the sliding direction of the intermediate connector in either other one of them. After both connecting bodies 1 and 6 are jointed together in a condition where the locking part and the temporary engaging part are engaged with each other, the intermediate connector is slid toward the other connecting body in the sliding guide part, and both contact parts 20 and 22 of the relay connector and the respective terminal parts 9 and 21 of both connecting bodies are connected to each other.
