Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain high-quality nonglutinous rice powder at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: Nonglutinous rice is prepared so as to be 18-28wt.% in water content and then made into powder by impact type powder making process followed by sieving, thus affording the objective nonglutinous rice flour ≥55wt.% in the content of rice powder 16-62μ, in particle diameter with damaged starch of rice powder accounting for 20-70wt.% of the final flour.
