Title:
SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH063783
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a photosensitive material showing improved color developing property, sensitivity, picture quality, preservability against the lape of time, dependence on processing, and fastness of color images.

CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer of this photosensitive material contains a silver halide emulsion consisting of planar particles and a cyan coupler expressed by the formula. In these planer particles, >50% of whole silver halide particles are particles having >2 aspect ratio. In the formula, Za is -NH- or -CH(R3)-, Zb and Zc are -C(R4)= or -N=, R1, R2 and R3 are electron withdrawing groups having ≥0.20 Hammett's substitution cost σp, R4 is a hydrogen atom or substituent, and X is hydrogen atom or group which is released by the coupling reaction of the oxidizer of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent.
