PURPOSE: To prevent the erroneous detection and duplicate issue of a slip end by providing a step difference along the medium accumulation direction on a medium placing face opposite to the delivery direction in a medium delivery mechanism pressing the accumulated mediums to a delivery section and delivering them in the direction parallel with the medium face.

CONSTITUTION: A stacker 24 is provided with a delivery roller 4, a weight plate 11, a center guide 12, and a medium delivery mechanism constituted of part of a guide 20. The guide 20 provided on the bottom face of the stacker 24 guides a slip 2, and an end section 20a is located apart from the center guide 12 and serves as a stopper hooking the rear end of the slip 2. The end section 20a forms a step difference provided along the slip accumulation direction on a slip placing face opposite to the delivery direction. Even when the rear end of the medium returned to the medium placing face creeps under the rear end of the next delivered medium, the rear end of the medium kept in contact with the step difference is hooked on the step, and the erroneous detection of a medium end due to the collapse of the medium is prevented.
