Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly/reliably perform valve opening/closing work of a buried pipe by burying a protective pipe at a proper interval above the buried pipe, and burying a valve box in layers on the outside so as to be superposed on one end of the protective pipe.
SOLUTION: A valve opening/closing apparatus 14 is fixed by filling up the periphery with earth after fitting a circular cap part 17 of the valve opening/closing apparatus 14 to a valve opening/closing shaft 7 projected to a valve main body 6 arranged in a proper place of a buried pipe 5 buried in the ground. Next, the earth 23 is put in a protective pipe 11 up to a completely exposed state of a square part 16 integrally molded on the tip of the valve opening/closing apparatus 14 below about 20 to 30 cm from a pavement by filling up the outside of the protective pipe 11 with the earth- sand 23 by arranging the protective pipe 11 so that the valve opening/closing apparatus 14 comes to the center by arranging the protective pipe 11 composed of a vinyl chloride cylinder so that the valve opening/closing apparatus 14 comes to the center. The tip is buried according to a pavement surface by fitting a valve box 19 to the upper outside of the protective pipe 11. A cover 21 is fitted to a collar 19a arranged in the valve box 19.
