Title:
HIGH FREQUENCY POWER DISTRIBUTION AND SYNTHESIS DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3029982
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the isolation and the return loss of a high frequency power distribution/synthesis device by connecting a winding coil between 2nd and 3rd terminals and in parallel to a balance resistor.
CONSTITUTION: The high frequency transmission lines 22 and 23 are set among 1st, 2nd and 3rd terminals 11, 12 and 13. A balance resistor 24 is connected between both terminals 12 and 13, and a winding coil 26 is provided in parallel to the resistor 24. The high frequency transmission lines 21, 22 and 23 are composed of the strip lines. The resistance of the line 21 is set at 50Ω together with the resistance of lines 22 and 23 set at 70.7Ω and the resistor 24 set at 100Ω respectively. The worst value of the isolation is improved up to 24dB within a band owing to presence of the coil 26. At the same time, the signal leakage is eliminated and the peak value of isolation is set at 37dB. Furthermore, the worst value of the return loss is also improved up to 70dB.
