Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a economical mortar excellent in fluidity, material segregation resistance and water impermeability, having high strength, with the bleeding and contraction reduced and capable of being produced in an urban ready-mixed concrete plant and obtain a joint structure for steel frame segments by using the mortar.
CONSTITUTION: The ratio of water/(cement + fine powder admixture) is controlled to 25-35%, the ratio of fine aggregate/(cement + fine powder admixture) to 2, the slump flow to 60-80cm and unit water amt. to ≤250kg/m3 in this mortar. The mortar is filled in a space 22 formed between the steel frame segments 9 and 10 at a pressure higher than the external water pressure.
