Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sandwich sheet which is lightweight and thin and has a high attenuation factor.
CONSTITUTION: A sandwich sheet has polymer layers 16, 18 and 20 placed between two outside metal sheets 12 and 14. Two adjoining layers consists of polymers each with a different elasticity in any case. A polymer layer with a low elasticity and a polymer layer with a high elasticity are alternately arranged. The layers 16 and 18 respectively adjoining the outside metal sheets 12 and 14 each have a lower elasticity than that of the polymer of the lower layer 20.
