PURPOSE: To measure a drop condition of an object thrown away from an aircraft without restriction.

CONSTITUTION: A tip end camera 2 and a rear end camera 3 are incorporated at the tip end and the rear end of a pod for measurement 7 including a measuring instrument for drop test for aircraft in the shape of a missile with the smallest aerodynamic influence, and they are mounted at the end of a main wing of an aircraft in the same way as a missile. A test object such as a bomb or a disposable drop tank thrown away from the aircraft is optically measured at two points and recorded at a recording device 5 via a built-in image signal control part 4. Also, it is transmitted to a transmitter 6, converted to an RF signal and sent to the ground.
