PURPOSE: To provide a cardboard-made CD holder which is simple in packaging process and can be effectively used as a storing case even after unpacking.

CONSTITUTION: A circular hole 21 slightly larger in size than a CD 5 is formed on an upper mount paper 2 and short bending lines (b) are provided extending to left and right from both ends of the diameter dividing the circular hole 21 into two equal upper and lower parts. The cut lines (c) with alternate cut parts and uncut parts 24 are provided extending from both ends of the bending lines (b) into a U-shaped form to define an opening and closing area 22 enclosing the upper half part of the circular hole 21, a protecting bag 4 containing CD 5 is inserted into the circular hole 21 of the upper mount paper 2 in such a way that the CD 5 is fitted into the circular hole and the taking in and out opening of the protecting bag 4 faces upward and the upper mount paper 2 and a lower mount paper 3 are folded double and bonded together at the parts other than the opening and closing area 22. The packaging process is simple, the packaged CD 5 is seen from outside and, by opening and closing the open/ close area 22, the CD 5 can be taken in and out of the protecting bag 4.
