Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform smooth delivery of banknotes from a stacker despite of a quantity of containing banknotes by energizing a rockably arranged kick- out roller to the banknote side on an elevator and controlling the elevator by means of a signal from a sensor to detect rocking of the kick-out roller to a given position. CONSTITUTION:Receiving banknotes 3 are charged and accumulated on an elevator 2 in a stacker 1 and a delivery roller 14 making contact with a lowermost banknote 3 in the stacker 1 is provided. By means of a frictional force between the delivery roller 14, a kick-out roller 15, and the banknote 3, the lowermost banknote 3 is delivered one at a time. To generate a given frictional force, a bill press 4 to press the banknotes 3 in the stacker 1 from above is provided. The kick-out roller 15 rockable around the axis of the delivery roller 14 is energized to the banknote 3 side on the elevator 2 through the force of an energizing member 17, and the position of the elevator 2 is controlled by means of a detecting signal from a sensor 18 to detect rocking of the kick-out roller 15 to a given position.
