Title:
VIDEO SIGNAL PROCESSING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2513557
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate a double line frequency non-interlace scanning processing for a primary color signal from an external signal source by doubling a line scanning frequency after generating the primary color signal, in the case that a video signal with a standard line frequency is converted into a non-interlace scanning signal.
CONSTITUTION: A video signal Vin with a standard line frequency is given to a comb-line filter 20, in which the signal is separated into a luminance signal Ycm and a chrominance signal (c), each color difference signal is generated via a color demodulator 33 and a matrix 34, an adder stage 36 synthesizes the luminance signal Y and the color difference signal to obtain primary color signals R, G, B. Primary color signals Re, Ge, Be with a standard line frequency are supplied from an external signal source 38. A changeover switch 40a selects one of the R, G, B or the Re, Ge, Be, and the selected signals are fed to a high-speed processing circuit 37, from which the primary color signals with a double line frequency are obtained.
