PURPOSE: To make lever operation lighter than conventional devices, and to enable the usage of not only patients having the weak force of hands and fingers but also patients having symptoms extending over a wide range.
CONSTITUTION: A joy stick lever 1, in which the front end side is supported to a gimbal mechanism with a first swing arm 3 pivotable around an X-axis and a second swing arm pivotable around a Y-axis crossed at right angles with the X-axis, and a neutral-position return mechanism 24 with a slider 16 and a spring 17 returning the joy stick lever 1 to a neutral position are provided. The slider 16 is arranged under the state, in which the slider is separated from an upper body 14, while being fixed onto the outer circumferential section of the lever 13 on the lower side of the knob 13 of the joy stick lever 1, and the spring 17 for returning to an original position is disposed in tension between the slider 16 and a lower body 15.
