Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the extent of working properties by omitting any trouble for adjustments by way of automatically adjusting an existing pile pinching space between two roller frames, mounting materials and working machinery and equipment on an on-pile mobile unit and thereby facilitating a carry-in operation to a construction site.
CONSTITUTION: Two roller frames 3 and 4 equipped with each side roller 8 are hangingly installed in the lower part of a base 2 of an on-pile mobile unit 1 traveling on an existing pile(P) train free of advance or retreat so as to straddle an existing pile P. One side of these roller frames is formed into a travelable moving roller frame 4, pinching the existing pile(P) train from both sides together with the fixed roller frame 3. A pinching interval pinching this existing pile P is automatically adjusted in the wake of a variation in pile width of the existing pile. This adjustment is carried out by an adjusting cylinder 5 and an accumulator 6 built in the base 2. In addition, materials, machinery and equipment 10 and 14 necessary for pipe press-in operations are mounted on the base 2.
