Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a flat particle emulsion less liable to cause dye stain and suitable for use in an autoradiographic sensitive material.

CONSTITUTION: This photographic sensitive material contains sensitized flat particles of silver bromide or silver bromoiodide having <0.30μm average thickness in at least one photosensitive layer and further contains at least one kind of polyoxyethylene compd. contg. about 20-100mol% repeating units represented by formula I and about 80-0mol% repeating units represented by formula II in the photosensitive layer and/or at least one nonphotosensitive layer. In the formula, R is an aliphatic, arom. or heterocyclic group and X is halogen.
