PURPOSE: To improve the productivity by automating a culture production process for a microbial cell and, simultaneously, accurately and smoothly carrying out the change in culture conditions in the culture production process.
CONSTITUTION: The objective method for culturing and producing a microbial cell is to use a culture device 33 for producing the microbial cell. In this case, the overall control is performed with an overall culture fuzzy control part 30 over the whole process of culture and production. In this control, the present values of various culture conditions are always monitored. When a change in the culture conditions is required, fuzzy inferential processing is carried out in a fuzzy computation processing part 35. The fixed value obtained as a result is used as the set value of a setting part 34 for the culture conditions. The fuzzy inferential control is performed over the whole production process.
