PURPOSE: To prevent an emergency operation from being started when a passenger is in a car by providing a timer for outputting a simulation signal after an inspection switch is operated and a specified time is elapsed after arrival of an elevator car at a predetermined floor.

CONSTITUTION: An emergency operation inspection switch is operated to energize an emergency operation inspection command relay 2 for self-holding. Next, an uppermost floor landing call button is operated for self-holding of an uppermost floor landing call registration relay 5 to call a car to an uppermost floor. An uppermost floor landing call detection relay 6 is energized for self-holding. When the car arrives at the uppermost floor, an emergency operation inspection confirming relay 7 is energized to energize a timer TA. Together with this energization, a timer TB is energized to energize an earthquake emergency operation device 9 to conduct an earthquake emergency operation of an elevator. Thereafter, after specified time is elapsed after energization of the timer TB, operation confirmation of the earthquake emergency operation device 9 is finished. Accordingly, an operation can be conducted by outputting of a simulation signal.
