Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a proper image signal even in reference to an object of which difference of luminance between a bright area and a dark area is very large. CONSTITUTION:First image data obtained by photographing in a way of controlling exposure so as to properly expose the dark area of the object is stored in a first memory 21. Second image data obtained by photographing in a way of controlling exposure so as to properly expose the bright area of the object is stored in a second memory 22. Synthetic image data is obtained by permitting a multiplexer 24 to select image data read out from the both memories 21 and 22 so as to replacing image data belonging to the bright area among the first image data with the second image data.
