Title:
VIBRATION-PROOF STRUCTURE FOR UNDERGROUND WALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0681358
Kind Code:
A

PURPOSE: To surely reduce the ground vibration in a wide area inputted via the ground.

CONSTITUTION: An earth retaining wall 2 made of a retaining wall is arranged at the portion of an underground railway tunnel 1 side, and a building 3 is constructed so that its underground wall 4 is faced to the earth retaining wall 2 at a preset interval. A vibration-proof wall 5 is arranged between the earth retaining wall 2 and the underground wall 4, and multiple vibration-proof materials 6 made of vibration-proof rubber are arranged between the vibration- proof wall 5 and the underground wall 4 of the building 3. Multiple dynamic dampers vertically faced with their axes are arranged in the vibration-proof wall 5. Multiple rigid steel balls are vertically connected with springs in the hollow body made of a steel pipe of the dynamic damper, and the steel balls are connected with springs horizontally faced with their axes on the inner periphery of the hollow body.
