PURPOSE: To surely wind the edge section of a return-fed fleece around the detaching cylinder downward without any inconvenient influence on the tuft transferred from the nipping unit to the detaching cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: An air-sucking pass 18 is additively disposed in front of the comber noil sucking chamber 12, the additive air-sucking pass 18 has the upper flow-in opening 18.1 and the flow inlet is disposed near the detaching cylinder 10 so that the air sucked into the flow-in opening may generate the air flow in the tangential direction to the detaching cylinder. This air flow winds the edge section V.1 of individual fleeces that are return-fed by the detaching cylinder 10 along the peripheral face of the detaching cylinder 10 at least over a range of 180° angle, when the angle is measured from the clamped position between the detaching cylinder 10 and the detaching press roller.
