Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep constant information transmission speed by providing a means to manage a packet number in each frame, which can be transmitted to a transmission path, in an in-network transfer equipment. CONSTITUTION:At the in-network transfer equipment 200, it is asked to a transfer control part 250 whether the number of packets to be desired to be used, which is received by a control part 200, can be received at a transmission path 50 or not. The control part 250 compares the number of the packets, which is not used, and the number of the packets, which is desired to be used, in the frame and in case of permission, a transfer request is sent to the next in-network transfer equipment. Then, the same decision is executed in the equipment as well. When the allowance is given in all links up to an addressed terminal equipment, a positive response is returned to the in-network transfer equipment 200 which is a sending source. When refusal is given in any link, a negative response is returned. Thus, the number of the using packets is decided and the using packet number and a logical channel number are stored in the transfer control part 250.
