PURPOSE: To obtain the massage apparatus for stimulating the right spot for a massage of the sole, etc., which can be used, while executing various works by arranging a roughly columnar abutting body in parallel to a plate--like base on the base, and supporting both its ends by the base through a string-like elastic body.

CONSTITUTION: This massage apparatus is provided with a base 1 formed like a plate by wood, a resin plate, etc., and on this base 1, a central abutting body 2 and a pair of end part abutting bodies 5 are arranged. The central abutting body 2 is roughly like a columnar bar, and formed in such a shape as the outside peripheral surface is subjected to diameter reduction like a taper repeatedly at a prescribed interval, that is, in such a shape as counters of an abacus are put in a row. On the other hand, the end part abutting body 5 is roughly columnar, and formed like what is called a spinning wheel in which a flange-like projecting part 5a is formed in both ends. Also, in each abutting body 2, 5, through-holes 4, 6 for running along their axes are formed, and by fixing both end parts of a string-like elastic body 7 of rubber, etc., inserted through these through-holes 4, 6 to the base 1 with a pin 8, the abutting bodies 2, 5 are supported on the base 1.
