PURPOSE: To form a mechanism to heave a film cartridge loaded in a cartridge chamber onto a specified position without bringing about a large-size construction of a camera body and without hindering the motion of the film cartridge.

CONSTITUTION: In the lower part of a film patrone chamber of a camera body 5, a cartridge heaving member 1 to be in contact with the bottom of a film cartridge 4 loaded is furnished on a feeding base plate 3 freely in vertical direction, energized upward by a built-in spring 2, located on the aperture side in the cartridge chamber in a position nearer the back lid, and is allowed to contact a place near the film drawout hole situated below the film cartridge so as to heave the film cartridge.
