Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide arm emergency lowering speed control device requiring no frequent maintenance and inspection without generating problems on quality, performance, and safety caused by heating.
CONSTITUTION: A spindle member 34 is slid to the outside in the radial direction by centrifugal force along a pin 32 fixed to the second rotors 28, 29 rotated integrally with a motor. When the deflection quantity of a disk spring 36 exceeds a set value, the spring load is abruptly decreased, the spindle member 34 is brought into pressure contact with the inner periphery of a sheave main body 13, and a brake is applied.
