PURPOSE: To enable image correction on the same screen continuously without interruption by menu selection during image correction by providing the electronic image processor with an instrument element for defining the range of a digital tablet beyond a monitor display range in order to change a method of a control means to display images.

CONSTITUTION: A main section forms and corrects the images in the conventional system while a pen 31 exists within the boundary line 40 of the digital tablet 5 corresponding to the outline of a monitor 30. The main section 1 monitors the correlation with the pen 31 through these operations. The main section determines whether the pen 31 is moved toward any direction when the absence of the pen 31 is detected within the boundary 40. The main section 1 first detects whether the pan 31 is moved leftward as shown by an arrow 41. When not the leftward but the rightward movement is detected, the main section displays that the scroll operation is requested. The images area eventually scrolled in the screen in correspondence to the movement that follows the movement of the pen 31.
