Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform focusing and tracking control in small size with high accuracy in the head device for performing the focusing and tracking control on an optical recording medium.
CONSTITUTION: A tracking supporting mechanism 33, a focusing supporting mechanism 34 and a movable part 32 are arranged to be connected up from a fixed part 35. The focusing supporting mechanism 34 is composed of two parallel focusing leaf springs 34a and 34b, and the tracking supporting mechanism 33 is composed of two tracking leaf springs 33a and 33b having a space between them, becoming narrower toward the fixed part 35.
