Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the gas and liquid contact efficiency and the contact efficiency between activated sludge and wastewater, and smoothly supply oxygen to the activated sludge by finely fractionizing activated sludge flocs constituted of flocs which bacteria in the sludge have produced and bacteria which do not form flocs in dispersed state by a solid-liquid-gas mixing nozzle.
SOLUTION: Together with circulating activated sludge and return sludge from a directly sent sludge supplying pump 14, organic wastewater sent by a wastewater pump 13 flows in an inner cylinder 5 installed in the inside of a reactor through a solid-liquid-gas mixing nozzle 1 while the wastewater being brought into contact with the activated sludge receiving supplied oxygen, organic matter is decomposed. The solid-liquid-gas mixing nozzle 1 is so formed as to make wastewater and the circulating activated sludge flow in the outside of an air pipe 2 installed in the inside. At the time when the wastewater and the activated sludge flowing through the solid-liquid-gas mixing nozzle 1 are introduced into the inner cylinder 5 together with air, the activated sludge flocs are finely fractionaized in dispersed state, so that gas-liquid contact efficiency is heightened and oxygen supply to the activated sludge can smoothly be carried out.
