Title:
METHOD FOR MOLDING INTERIOR BASE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2565059
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simply and rapidly mold an interior base material, to eliminate the deterioration of work environment due to the scattering of staple fibers constituting a felt layer before molding, to markedly enhance working efficiency and to enhance economical efficiency without using an expensive adhesive such as a PE adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A resole type phenol resin 15 is applied to one surface of a felt layer 12 mixed with a novolac type phenol resin and, subsequently, reinforcing paper 13 impregnated with a phenol resin is laminated on one surface of the felt layer 12. The whole is subjected to press molding under heating by a heated press mold so as to have a desired shape to obtain an interior base material wherein the felt layer 12 and the reinforcing paper 13 are integrally bonded.
