Abstract:
PURPOSE: To individually and freely indicate magnifying powers in lateral and longitudinal directions with respect to the desired arbitrary character data among a plurality of character data.
CONSTITUTION: When the desired character row among a plurality of the character rows stored in a composition memory 3 is indicated by a cursor and the double em key KC of an input part 1 is operated, lateral magnifying power is renewed by +1 at every operation and longitudinal magnifying power is renewed by +1 at each time when a ↑ key is operated after a longitudinal double em key KB is operated and the lateral and longitudinal magnifying powers are displayed on a display device 7. When an execution key KE is operated, those magnifying powers are decided and the corresponding code is stored in the composition memory 3. The content stored in the composition memory 3 is decoded and a character is printed on the basis of the magnifying power corresponding to each character data in a printing part 9.
