PURPOSE: To make a cut easy as well as to aim at the promotion of forming stability and labor-saving by cutting a base sheet after a notch is made up in this base sheet, in a roller grouping process which extrudes resin in succession and forms a base plate for an optical information medium.
CONSTITUTION: A resin sheet 7 extruded out of a T die 2 of an extruder 1 is first conducted to an interval between a first cooling roll 3 and a stamper roll (second cooling roll) 4 and pressed down, while a stamper form is transferred at the stamper roll 4. Next, the resin sheet 7 is passed through an interval between the stamper roll 4 and a third cooling roll 5, and then it is taken over at a receiving roll 6. At this time, a notch groove 9 is formed in this resin sheet 7 with a notching jig 8. Successively the resin sheet 7 made up of this notch groove 9 is cut off. With this constitution, the resin sheet 7 is cut easily in its continued process, while any effect of the receiving roll 6 is solved and thereby the promotion of forming stability and labor-saving are achieved.
