PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetically heating rice cooker capable of cooking rice low in boiling nonuniformity and tastably.
CONSTITUTION: In the electromagnetically heating rice cooker provided with a coil 1 formed almost in concentric circularly spiral shape and a ferrite 2 for flux convergence arranged at the lower side of the coil in radiation shape and which generates an induced current in a material to be heated placed on the upper side of the coil 1 and performs heat cooking by the Joule heat of the current, the ferrite 2 is arranged so that the length of the ferrite 2 can be formed longer than the winding width of the coil 1, and also, the extrusive length on the inner peripheral part side of the coil 1 can be formed longer than that on the outer peripheral part side of the coil 1 of the ferrite 2. Therefore, flux density generated by supplying a high-frequency current to the coil can be almost uniformalized for the radial direction of an inner kettle, which uniformalizes temperature distribution on the bottom of the inner kettle.
