Abstract:
PURPOSE: To firmly fix an installing member on a back plate surface of a substrate for internal finish by forming a cavity in the installing member such as a metallic bracket, providing a space on the plate surface around the cavity, superposing the installing member on the plate back surface of the substrate for the internal finish, passing an adhesive through the cavity, filling and curing the adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: An installing member 1 such as a bracket made of a metal or metallic fixtures is applied to a back plate surface of a substrate 2 for internal finish such as a vehicular roof panel or a door inner panel and fixed thereon. In the process, a cavity 4 is formed in the plate surface of the installing member 1 opposing to the back plate surface of the substrate 2 for internal finish. A space 5 for filling and curing an adhesive 3 is formed between the opposite surfaces of the plate surface around the cavity 4 and the back plate surface of the substrate 2 for internal finish. The adhesive 3 for fixing the installing member 1 is built up on the plate surface of the installing member 1 and cured. The adhesive 3 is then passed through the cavity 4, filled in the space 5 between the plate surface around the cavity 4 and the back plate surface of the substrate 2 for the internal finish and cured. Thereby, the installing member 1 is firmly fixed on the back plate surface of the substrate 2 for the internal finish with the adhesive.
