Title:
【発明の名称】表面被覆酸化物粒子及びそれを用いる化粧料
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3002171
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain oxide particles having excellent dispersibility and reduced catalytic activity by forming a polymerization catalyst on the surfaces of particles of an oxide selected among titanium oxide, zinc oxide, and cerium oxide and polymerizing a polymerizable monomer to coat their surfaces with a polymer. SOLUTION: The core material of an oxide particle may be a hydrated oxide. Rutile, anatase, monoclinic, or amorphous titanium oxide particles are desirable, and among them rutile titanium oxide is particularly desirable. The oxide particles used are desirably ones having a mean article diameter of 0.002-1 μm for use in cosmetics. The coating amount of the high-molecular polymer is usually 1-500 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. core material. The high-molecular polymer is particularly desirably an olefin resin. The polymerization catalyst used in the polyolefin coating is desirably a coordinated anion catalyst.
