PURPOSE: To surely convey a transfer material to a transfer section and prevent the vibration caused by a cutter action from being propagated to the transfer section by providing an opening/closing device forming a space toward the outside of a transfer material conveyance path at part of the transfer material conveyance path between a cutter and a transfer means, and absorbing the vibration of the cutter cutting the transfer material with the sag formed in this space.
CONSTITUTION: A guide plate 30 provided on an opening/closing device 16 is opened toward the outside of a conveyance path centering on a fulcrum 31 by the signal transmitted from a sensor 25 to form a space for forming the sag of a transfer material. Rollers 13a, 13b, 15a, 15b are driven to convey the transfer material, and the transfer material is fed into the space formed by the opening/closing device 16 to form a sag. When the transfer material is drawn by the prescribed length, the rollers 13a, 15a are stopped, and a cutter 14 is operated to cut the transfer material into a prescribed size. The transfer material is fixed by the stopped rollers 13a, 13b, 15a, 15b for optimum cutting.
