PURPOSE: To provide a press-in method for sintered oil-contained bearing by which an initial current value in the case of a motor can be reduced by bringing a rotary shaft and a sintered oil-contained bearing into surface contact with each other without being influenced by the shape of a bearing holder and other conditions and forming the sintered oil-contained bearing in its agingless state.
CONSTITUTION: In a method to press a sintered oil-contained bearing 1, supporting a rotary shaft 7 on which a side pressure is applied, in a bearing housing 3, the sintered oil-contained bearing 1 is pressed in the bearing housing 3 such that the central axis of the inside diameter of the sintered oil-contained bearing after being pressed-in is inclined in the same direction as a direction, in which the rotary shaft 7 is inclined, by means of a side pressure. A method to incline the central axis of the inside diameter of the sintered oil-contained bearing includes a method to incline the push-pressing surface of a press-in punch 5 for the sintered oil-contained bearing pressed in the bearing housing and a method to relatively incline the press-in punch and the bearing housing.
