PURPOSE: To obtain a zero phase current detector of a switch gear free from external induction.
CONSTITUTION: A ring-shaped zero phase current transformer 24 is provided surrounding a lead-in bushing 5 connected to distribution wires of a three-phase AC in a package. A voltage sensor head 26 is arranged in an internal area of the ring-shaped zero current transformer 24 to detect a zero phase current as light signal. As a result, the zero phase current can be detected as light signal with the voltage sensor head 26 without receiving external induction. The zero phase current detected is transmitted to a measuring section with an optical fiber 34. This enables the transmission of the zero phase current to the measuring section free from the external induction thereby enabling accurate detection.
